I was thrilled to meet Jen and her beautiful family when she decided to take part in the #frontstepsproject. I have lived in South Windsor all my life. This project has helped me to get to know all the new families that have moved to our beautiful town.

Please tell us how this time has affected you and your family either in a positive and/or negative manner?

This time has helped us appreciate the little things more, cherish our time together as well as our health and to look forward to spending time with our extended family as soon as we are able to.

What is one of your favorite memories or stories that happened during this time which includes your family and/or friends?

Being on maternity leave with our newborn and having a toddler – hugging them closer each day.

What are some of the things that your family has done to cope with the new way of life? IE: school, work, family time etc.

Spend as much time playing outside and doing activities. Laughing as much as we can!
